It's not haughty! 🚫🤭! Showing up was hard at first! I forgot a bunch. Or pretended to forget. It was weird, sitting down at a table with strangers. I didn't know what to say or do. I'd never eaten with other people like that before.
As for my responsibilities... I'm the bosun, so I take care of the ship. When there's damage that needs to be repaired or maintenance to be done, I figure out the where and how and what supplies are needed. When we're in port, I make sure we've got everything we need to keep her in good shape. It's a *very* important job because our ship is our livelihood. And also she's just a very special ship, so she deserves the best care. 💖⛵️ I also help navigate, keep tabs on the hold for any new inventory, and keep the ship's log. That's a record of where we've been on which days, the weather, what we encountered, etc. Which means I used to have to get up at dawn to measure the position of the sun and get our bearings... but I don't have to do that here, obviously~ 😴😴😴 (I hope you can see why I had to leave the cooking to someone else!)

The half a star is there so that you don't get complacent! I can't barter it away, or you won't have any reason to improve your essays. But teach me hunting anyway! And cooking 🍖! I can find something else to throw in! What else is worth hunting and cooking lessons?

Date: 2021-11-08 05:54 am (UTC)It's not haughty! 🚫🤭! Showing up was hard at first! I forgot a bunch. Or pretended to forget. It was weird, sitting down at a table with strangers. I didn't know what to say or do. I'd never eaten with other people like that before.
As for my responsibilities... I'm the bosun, so I take care of the ship. When there's damage that needs to be repaired or maintenance to be done, I figure out the where and how and what supplies are needed. When we're in port, I make sure we've got everything we need to keep her in good shape. It's a *very* important job because our ship is our livelihood. And also she's just a very special ship, so she deserves the best care. 💖⛵️ I also help navigate, keep tabs on the hold for any new inventory, and keep the ship's log. That's a record of where we've been on which days, the weather, what we encountered, etc. Which means I used to have to get up at dawn to measure the position of the sun and get our bearings... but I don't have to do that here, obviously~ 😴😴😴 (I hope you can see why I had to leave the cooking to someone else!)
What do you want to trade??? How am I supposed to offer anything if I don't know what you want? 🤔 Is there something I could teach you? It sounds like you already know so much... 😔

And that is a lot of responsibility, so I guess it's fine that you haven't touched any fish. It sounds like the ⛵️ was in good hands with you. It sounds like running a boat is like running a sect and like you were a good high ranking disciple who deserved to eat in peace. (🚫🤭) I did not know this sand cultivator was so responsible!
Yes, maybe I know too much to learn any new things. So maybe I just have to teach you out of the goodness of my heart. 😔 Until you learn to cook something and can make it for me.

We just did the jobs that needed to be done, so it feels weird to assign ranks to that... I guess I did have people assigned to me when we rescued the 🦴👻, though. But I don't really know what to call that. I just had to show them around the ship and make sure they knew which jobs to do. I will not object to being responsible, though! I'm very responsible! 😌✨✨✨
If you teach me how to hunt and cook meat, I'll make you a bunch of things! 🍠🥞🥘🍜🍤🥮! Is that a deal???
